The barman was less than helpful. When I asked what beers they had (expecting to be told - this is our IPA, this is our porter, etc...) I was told 'those are our beers' as he pointed at the taps.
Another couple of stars taken off as the toilet flooded. This unfortunately happened directly above where we were eating and dirty 'water' (I dread to think what it was) started to rain down on our table. We were quickly moved but no replacement food was given to those who lost part of their meal to toilet water drenched food.
Clearly we had a uniquely unpleasant experience and most people would visit the pub and have a fun night. That said, I find it hard to give it more than 2 stars.
