Since this was a first meal at Golden House I hardly thought Fried Rice could be a mess; but it was. This is a take out establishment only. The fried rice was hardly even that. The container had nothing but dirty white rice. Not the dirty appearance of a rich splash of soy sauce- there appeared to be none, nor did it smell of soy sauce. It was the dirty rice appearance of tossing white rice in a hot wok, and it actually did smell foul.
When returned with the food the woman responded anything other than the "fried rice" requested would be ordered specially. In other words, vegetables, soy sauce, etc., would be ordered under a different category then fried rice.
They packaged a plate of white rice, flash heated, into an aluminum pan, and sold it as the universally known "fried rice."
